I love this authentic island engagement shoot in Agios Nikitas, Lefkada. It captures the essence of the Ionian islands with the warm stone of the church and the surrounding olive trees.

We took Chloe and Felipe from USA to this pretty village on Lefkada’s west coast for their pre-wedding engagement shoot. They both loved the blue and white facade of the buildings and the authentic nature of the village. Together we wandered the little pedestrian streets and enjoyed the island atmosphere.

Wedding at Villa Veneziano in Lefkada with pampas details – Sarah & Jay

We planned Sarah and Jay’s June wedding in Lefkada at Villa Veneziano in Lefkada, hosting the ceremony in the vaulted pool house and the reception on the garden lawn surrounded by the warm sienna-coloured walls and borders overflowing with fragrant rosemary.

Rich burgundy and pink florals decorated their day from Sarah’s stunning bouquet of peonies, roses, protea, eucalyptus and pampas grass to the ornate urns and statement pampas globe at the ceremony.

The British couple wanted to offer the guests a gourmet food and drink experience, so we arranged for them to have a pre-wedding wine tasting at de blanck wine and champagne in Nidri. They chose Greek estate wines for the dinner and Estate Tselopos Amalia Brut for the drinks reception accompanied by the sounds of a piano/violin duo. After dinner, the evening party kicked off with a surprise live version of ‘Mrs Robinson’ for the bride as recognition of her new surname. Lots of dancing followed and for those needing a sugar boost, we laid out a delicious selection of mini tarts from the Lemon patisserie.

Gaynor & Simon’s Meganisi villa wedding with pampas and olive details was an intimate and music-filled celebration with their closest family at the Meganisi Villas estate just outside Spartohori village. We recommended the location as the picturesque estate has its own private beach perfect for their wedding ceremony and easy flow back up to the villa terrace for champagne and a private chef dinner.

The styling and decoration for their Meganisi villa wedding used pampas and olive details. The omega shape arch had a large, full arrangement with added gypsophila. It blended with the natural surroundings of the beach which was encircled by olive trees and island grasses.

A saxophonist was key for this music-loving couple and Maestro Vassilis, arranged a playlist of their favourite dance songs in a cocktail mood including bride Gaynor’s, favourite Florence and the Machine song for her entrance down to the beach.

Engagement shoot Vathy Meganisi island Greece

This beautiful coral and olive engagement shoot in Meganisi island took place before the May wedding of Andy and Jenna from the UK. They invited 120 of their friends and family for an idyllic week on this tiny island paradise.

Meganisi is the most charming of Greek islands, and those of you that follow me, know that I personally love this tiny Greek island! For our engagement shoot on Meganisi island, Jenna told us she would be wearing a coral dress, so inspired by this we took the couple to Vathy in the area of the marina which has this picturesque little chapel and natural elements like the vibrant bougainvillaea flowers and the olive trees.

Pantone Yellow Wedding on Lefkada island

Our gorgeous Pantone yellow wedding in Lefkada island, Greece showcases, showcases how the colour can be chic and trendsetting, especially when matched against the stunning scenery of the Greek Ionian Islands.

Yellow is a powerful colour, in all shades: a reminder of the sun, positivity, and fun!

Katouna Suites’ enviable location on the northeast coast of Lefkada has views of the Greek mainland. The mountains glow warm pink in the summer evenings and the sea below is dotted with activity from yachts and fishing boats. The ten-suite boutique hotel offers adults-only luxury stays and an ideal place for a micro wedding celebration.

Our Pantone yellow-inspired wedding decor at this Lefkada shoot was paired with black and grey details to really make the bright colour of the mimosa flowers pop. A loose bouquet of long-stem white roses, mimosa and willow was tied in pageant style with trailing organza ribbons.

Historic Wedding Venue Lefkada

Perhaps the only factor that can make a wedding venue in Lefkada even more impressive than one with great views or beach access, is if it has historical significance too!

Without-a-doubt, historical significance adds a deeper meaning to an already meaningful day, not to mention the impressive architecture and the feeling of nostalgia!

The beautiful capital of the island, Lefkada town, constitutes a characteristic architecture developed during the years of Venetian occupation. The architecture of Lefkada is different in the capital and the villages.

One of the most exquisite buildings of Lefkada old town is the Municipal Library. Tucked away in Plateia Markou this beautiful neoclassical building has an illustrious history. Built in the late 19th century as the residence of the Zoulinos family it later housed the National Bank, before being aquired by the Greek State and becoming the home of the library in 1953.

Max and Georgia chose a marriage blessing alongside their civil ceremony and we arranged this with the very genial Rev Jules of Holy Trinity Church, Corfu. The blessing took place in the gardens of the historic library building and allowed them to have the significance they wanted for the wedding ceremony with a relaxed formality.
