A Luxury Elopement in Sivota

Our couple travelled from Australia to Greece, choosing to celebrate their love with a secret and intimate elopement surrounded by their closest friends. In their emails, they shared their excitement about their upcoming adventure and asked me to help create a beautiful, yet understated ceremony, followed by a luxurious private dinner.

Wanting to find a location that blended seclusion with elegance, I suggested Sivota Thesprotias, a hidden gem on Greece’s stunning west coast. Nestled along the Ionian Sea, Sivota is home to Agios Nikolaos Suites, a 5-star boutique hotel that offers breathtaking views of offshore islands, little white beaches, and lush green landscapes. The turquoise waters and serene surroundings set the perfect stage for their intimate celebration, embodying the essence of a romantic Greek escape.

Elegant floral stands, overflowing with white and blush pink roses, eucalyptus, and olive branches, seamlessly complemented the beauty of the garden ceremony location. Guests arrived via a picturesque walk through stone archways, following pathways lined with coastal flowers, adding a natural, romantic touch to the setting.

The couple envisioned a rustic aesthetic, seamlessly blending with the hotel’s sophisticated design. To bring their vision to life, we adorned the table with a lush garland of greenery, accented with delicate flowers and vibrant pink hypericum berries. For an added touch of romance, we nestled antique-toned gold glass vases and candle votives among the foliage, casting a warm, enchanting glow as the evening unfolded.

Our bride Rebecca, looked breathtaking in the Saboya bridal gown by Rosa Clara, a stunning fitted silhouette crafted from silk crepe, featuring exquisite beaded cap sleeves and a beautifully detailed open-back design. Her bouquet was a delicate blend of white and blush roses, lisianthus, alstroemeria, astilbe, and eucalyptus, creating a soft, romantic arrangement that perfectly complemented the elegance of her gown.

Dinner was served by candlelight on the terrace of The Island, Agios Nikolaos’ a la carte restaurant, and the guests enjoyed a variety of modern Greek cuisine, including fresh lobster.
